I’ve been taking advantage of this cold January to review my photography of the last year (and decade). I found myself deleting over 1000 photos on flickr; bad photos, insignificant moments. I’ve not been feeling the excitement or love this winter, but January has already had a couple of encouraging moments. A photograph is being published in a forthcoming book, Lensbaby gave me an ‘honorable mention’ on their site with an invitation to ‘work together’ and I’ve been invited to submit to a couple of exhibitions. It’s not kicked my inspiration into gear yet but it’s encouraged me to be more proactive in 2010.
